From May 11th-13th Ingrid Gehrke visited a potential future partner school in Norrtälje, located about 40 minutes north of Stockholm, Sweden. During her visit she was able to meet representatives of the Science Department, the Development Manager and the Principal of Montessoriskolan Norrtälje. Future co-operation activities on the level of staff and student mobility were discussed. First – online – activities shall start at the beginning of next school year. Montessoriskolan Norrtälje has a Science focus as AHS Reininghaus does, some classes are taught in English and the school also offers German as a foreign language. We are very excited about this future co-operation and are looking forward to interesting projects ranging from biodiversity to UN student parliament activities.
